Veronica Beard: Your new Newbury Street obsession

We love Boston and we were inspired to open our store on Newbury Street because it’s not only a beautiful area, but it’s also the premiere shopping street.”

If you’re looking for a reason to visit Newbury Street for a good ol’ self-care day, or just an overall new shopping destination, here it is. With two boutiques already set in Manhattan, Manhasset, Dallas, Houston, two in LA, one in San Francisco, and plenty more locations all around the country, American-ready-to-wear retail brand Veronica Beard has found its thirteenth home on Newbury Street in Boston. It’s boutique, bohemian styled store, makes it all the more exciting to welcome to Boston. Having opened Friday, January 15, 2021 at 145 Newbury Street, Veronica Beard is more than ready to welcome it’s newfound Boston family to their new location.

Veronica Beard was founded by sisters-in-law Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard. They aspired to create a full lifestyle collection built for real life, and that’s exactly what they did. The Beard’s want their brand to make every woman feel confident on a daily basis, and with walking within a few feet of the store, it is very much apparent.

“We love Boston and we were inspired to open our store on Newbury Street because it’s not only a beautiful area, but it’s also the premiere shopping street in the city and its home to some of the best stores and restaurants in the area,” the company said in a press release. “We knew opening our store in this location would bring our customer base through our doors because Newbury Street is where she goes to shop whether she’s a resident, college student, or just visiting.”

The feel-good boutique offers selections from swimwear, business & casual attire, to now introducing lounge-wear & active-wear to their brand next month; which will be available in all Veronica Beard stores and of course on the home website: veronicabeard.com. Style’s will include anoraks, sweatshirts, sweatpants, leggings & sports bras with prices ranging from $158 to $398. Veronica Beard truly has something for everyone for every desired occasion.

Veronica Swanson Beard & Veronica Miele Beard are very much eager “to bring the world of Veronica Beard to Boston’s iconic Newbury street and we can’t wait to meet our customers! Whether she’s on the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans, an iconic dickey jacket or activewear,” Beard said in a release. “We’ve thoughtfully designed the pieces she will treasure whether she’s in college, working, taking care of her family or just in town for a visit.” Veronica Beard surely does consider the ideal outfit for any and every woman.

Veronica Beard offers a bohemian, free-spirited feel as soon as a new customer walks in the front door of the store.
What is also given off as soon as entering the store, is a sense of giving back to the community. It is undoubtedly noticeable that Veronica Beard deeply cares for their female audience, especially the younger females of the future. They empower the women who make a difference in the world by giving back all day, every day.

#VBGivesBack offers an extraordinary, and heart-warming project that is the initial back-bone of Veronica Beard’s mission overall. This program was first launched in 2015, where the Beard’s highlight one woman, and the cause most important to her; donating a portion of sales from every online transaction back to the cause of her choice. Veronica Beard believes in partnering with people and organizations they admire & they’re excited to be partnering with Rosario Dawson & the Lower Eastside Girls Club throughout the month of March. To have the opportunity to support an organization in our city that is doing extraordinary things to help younger women reimagine their future is an honor.

“As we do with all of our VB Gives back partnerships, we will hold a VB Gives Back Day in all of our retail stores in March, where a portion of sales from the day will go back to the Lower Eastside Girls Club. There are many different activations that take place under our VB Gives Back umbrella. In addition to our quarterly partners, we will also work with other organizations to hold events in store,” according to a company release.

The Beards are dedicated to their customer base, and want nothing more than to inspire their female audience; they’re capable of anything, especially with the right outfit. When you plan on paying a visit to the new location of Veronica Beard, allowed the customers to bring in “gently used VB jackets” in return for a 20 percent discount on the purchase of a full-price jacket with the company donating the jackets from the swap to Kristyn’s Closet, an American Red Cross partner dedicated to helping veterans in need.

The sisters-in-law are unquestionably unstoppable and are making their mark on Newbury Street by delighting their newest Boston family.
