New York based artist Tauba Auerbach has created an oversized Pop-Up book featuring six die-cut paper sculptures that fold out into gorgeous geometric shapes.  A book continuing Auerbach’s examination of the flux between 2d and 3d, each sculpture was hand-designed by the artist, reaching heights up to 18”.  This book is a continuation of Auerbach’s query of geometries and the interstices between experiencing multiple dimensions. Each Pop-Up sculpture is unique, delicate, and seductive in its flawless design.  This book should really be considered an objet d’art, so be careful relegating it to the coffee table – it belongs in a glass case.
